Dott's Egg Tarts

Dott's is a tiny little stall that can be found at many malls in the town. The hugely popular egg tart is the signature here. There is no need to travel all the way to find a delicious egg tart, it is available all the time at their stall.

The egg tart is rich in creamy custard taste, not too sweet nor too oily (butter-ly) ; and it is served warm from the oven. So it give a freshly baked taste and feel the cryspyness of the puff crust. A well-combinated egg tart gently melts on mouth! Beside that, they also have savory puff - BBQ chicken puff.

They also do customer order for catering, but they don't do the delivery so you may need to come in store and pick up your order early in the morning (because you want it freshly bake). Well, just simply give them a notice in advance.

Egg tarts for RM1.20 each
BBQ chicken puff for RM1.50 each

Playground [ Closed Down ]

Playground is the third branch of Party Play Lifestyle Cafe. Well, it has quite different interior design from the former cafe. Playgroud's interior idea is like slipping back to childhood with something comfortable. Moody lighting, dark wood, primary school desks, electric tunes make this a very cosy warm venue. The menu, based on magazine style of eating, made up of mostly western dishes (pizza, pasta, lasagne, and wide variety of cakes and desserts) but there are Malaysian local dishes too.

Good place for anytime foodies - breakfast, lunch or dinner, it's all about families and casual eating; also a destination for the coffee and cake set.

Comments: Nice atmosphere, good place for friends and family catching up. The interior is funky, fun and colorful. As for the main course, we'd think the breakfast was perfectly prepared and cooked but it gone a bit salty for us. Otherwise, the menu is ideally creative and well presented, we love it! Must try their signature dessert, warm chocolate fondant freshly baked and serve directly with ice cream on side.
